1 tasse de sucre glace, tamisé

1/2 cuillère à café de gros sel

2 cuillères à soupe de lait ou de substitut de lait

1 cuillère à café d'extrait de vanille pure ou d'autres arômes

Mélangez le lait et la vanille puis ajoutez le sel et le sucre. Remuez bien pour éliminer les grumeaux. Ajouter quelques gouttes de lait si la préparation est trop épaisse ou 1 à 2 cuillères à soupe de sucre glace si elle est trop fine. Arrosez les petits pains à moitié chauds et servez immédiatement.

Ingredients

Unbleached flour made of hard red spring wheat from Quebec (Niacin, reduced Iron, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Folate), sugar, baking powder (sodium bicarbonate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate), sodium bicarbonate, salt. Cinnamon sugar: sugar, cinnamon

You Will Need
  • ¾ cups cold unsalted butter or non-dairy alternative (1½ sticks/170.5 g), cut into small cubes 
  • plus 2 tbsp more butter for greasing pan 
  • 1 ¼ cup cream or 1 cup buttermilk or milk alternative (we prefer cream!)
Fun Recipes

For a great cinnamon bun frosting glaze 

  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar, sifted 
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt 2 tablespoons milk or dairy alternative 
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or other flavourings 

Blend the milk and vanilla then add in the salt and sugar. Stir well to remove lumps. Add a few drops of milk if too thick or 1-2 tbsp icing sugar if too thin. Drizzle over semi warm buns and serve immediately.

Genius recipe!

I wanted an easy recipe to have while camping and so I made these the day before we left, rolled in parchment and froze it. Then when i wanted to bake i allowed to thaw and cut and placed them in greased muffin tin. Perfect fit for our camper oven and then glazed with the icing i also made a day ahead. Love these convenient recipes.

Delicious and quick to make

These cinnamon rolls turned out super delicious, and exactly as on the picture of the package! They're very easy and quick to make, even without a food processor (easy to simply knead the butter and dry ingredients with your hands). Very convenient as snacks on-the-go. My daughter loved them!
